At Love at First Scan, we believe pregnancy care should feel both reassuring and memorable.
Based in West Derby, Liverpool, we are a nurse-led CQC registered private ultrasound clinic providing a calm, professional and welcoming space for families throughout pregnancy and women's health journeys.
All scans are carried out by fully qualified, HCPC registered sonographers, ensuring your care is delivered within a safe, clinically governed environment where your comfort, dignity and reassurance always comes first.
Founded by a registered nurse, and mum of two, Love at First Scan was created with a vision of offering something more personal than the typical clinical experience- a space where families feel genuinely supported, listened to and cared for.
After experiencing both NHS and private pregnancy care first-hand, we recognised the importance of combining professional standards with warmth, compassion, and a more relaxed environment. That vision became Love at First Scan.
Whether you are attending for an early reassurance scan, gender reveal, 4D bonding experience or women's health ultrasound, our aim is to ensure every visit feels calm, supportve and special.

Our early pregnancy scans offer reassurance and support during the crucial early stages of your pregnancy. We understand the importance of this milestone and strive to make it a comforting and joyful experience for you.

4D Baby bonding experience

At Love at First Scan, we offer 3D and 4D baby scans to provide you with a unique glimpse of your baby's world. Our state-of-the-art technology and experienced staff ensure that you have a memorable and bonding experience.

PRIVATE GYNAECOLOGY ULTRASOUND SCAN
Our private gynaecology scans are carried out in a calm, professional environment within our CQC registered, nurse-led clinic.
All scans are performed by fully qualified, HCPC registered sonographers, ensuring you receive care that is safe, thorough and clinically governed.
This scan provides an assessment of the uterus, ovaries and pelvic structures and may be suitable if you are experiencing symptoms such as pelvic pain, irregular periods or have concerns you would like reassurance on.
A clear, structured written report is provided following your scan, along with appropriate advice and guidance. If any concerns are identified, we will support you with clear next steps and signposting to NHS services where required.
We understand that attending for a gynaecology scan can feel personal, and your comfort, dignity and reassurance are always our priority.
No GP referral required.

All scans include two printed images of your choice. Complimentary rescan offered at sonographer discretion where image quality is affected by factors outside of our control.
